Local Bankruptcy Rule 9010-1 Information

On December 11, 2003, the court abrogated Local Bankruptcy Rule 9010-1. This rule governed the procedure to be followed for attorneys wishing to appear in the Bankruptcy Court Pro Hac Vice. The reason for the rule abrogation was based upon a conflict with the local rules for the United States District Court. Attorneys are advised to refer to the United States District Court Local Rule 83.1.2 regarding a request to practice in a particular case. The rules regarding bar admission and authority to practice in the Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia are governed by the admission rules for the United States District Court. Any questions concerning this procedure should be directed to the Clerk of the District Court or the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court.
