Amended Reopening Protocols for In-Person Hearings as of June 10, 2021
The Court has issued amended reopening protocols for in-person hearings in accordance with Administrative Order #138. Click here to read the protocols. The protocols reflect new CDC guidance on mask wear and social distancing. Bankruptcy hearings in the Middle District of Georgia will continue to be telephonic until further notice. Attorneys may request in-person (or video conference) hearings when they feel it necessary, but mass in-person calendars will not occur until further notice. Per the Assistant US Trustee, no additional guidance has been received from the US Trustee Program regarding §341 Meetings and therefore Meetings will continue to be held telephonically until further notice.
