Effective December 1, 2022, This Court Will No Longer Accept Cash Payments
Effective December 1, 2022, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia will no longer accept cash payments.
Attorneys must settle charges through CM/ECF via Pay.gov using a debit card, credit card, or *ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment.
Pro Se Debtors may pay fees by mail, in person, or through the court’s online payment portal.
If paying by mail or in person, acceptable forms of payment include corporate checks, cashier’s or certified checks, and money orders made payable to the Clerk, United States Bankruptcy Court. If making payment by mail, send it to U.S. Bankruptcy Court Middle District of GA, P.O. Box 1957, Macon, GA 31202-1957. Please note, personal checks and cash are not accepted.
If paying through the court’s online payment portal, acceptable forms of payment include debit card (preferred method), PayPal, and *ACH.

Caution: a $53 fee is charged for any failed payments, including those resulting from the entry of incorrect routing or account numbers, or insufficient funds available.
